Welcome to Moab Books

Moab Live and Back of Beyond Books, located on Main Street in Moab, Utah are proud to announce our newest webcam, streaming live from the Antiquarian Section of that fabled bookstore. Visible in the image is part of the large collection of High Southwest fiction and non-fiction. According to proprietor, Andy Nettell, "We are an independent bookstore with a large selection of books. The name of the store derives from Edward Abbey's controversial novel, The Monkey Wrench Gang. His character Seldom Seen Smith was an outfitter, and the name of his company--and hideout--was 'Back of Beyond'. We specialize in natural history, environmental literature, Southwestern guidebooks and maps, Native American books, and Western history".
